Air Transportation. Commercial air traffic into Roberts Field in Redmond, which serves Central Oregon continues to grow at a record-setting pace. This reflects the vitality of the tourist industry in Bend and surrounding localities and indicates an increasing volume of business traffic to and from Central Oregon.

Lodging. New lodging facilities on the horizon include a luxury hotel in downtown Bend and several hotels in Redmond. This page provides links to lodging directories on the Bend Visitor and Convention Bureau and the Central Oregon Visitors Association web sites. Destination Resorts account for many of the vacation rooms in Central Oregon as do Vacation Rentals by Owners.

Meeting Facilities. Bend and Redmond are beginning to show up on convention planners' radar with a huge amount of indoor and outdoor space available at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center in Redmond and the new convention center at the Riverhouse Resort and Hotel in Bend.
